E-Commerce

For the purpose of confidentiality; names, logos and data have been removed or "dummied up."

The Problem

This client had an issue with the collection and flow of their business data.  Often times, data would be presented numerous 'Excel-like' tables which would be difficult to maneuver through and even more difficult to onboard or explain.  Our solution was to dissect the problem the client was having and create an application that would organize their data, monitor trends, while also creating a seamless experience.

My Role

I was the general point-of-contact to this client in regards to design related issues. I created the UX and visual storyboards, and worked directly with internal and client software engineers, and data modelers to create a final product.

The Users/Audience

The primary users were executives within the organization, as well as managers and technical leads. The general audience were individuals who were involved in day-to-day operations and needed to monitor the flows of a variety of data.

The Design Process

The design process would start with initial engagements and meetings with the client to understand where they were having problems and issues.  Several key members throughout individual teams would be interviewed to help storyboard the initial concept. Once approved, we would then wireframe and eventually create high-fidelity mockups. The rest of the engagement would involved us working directly with internal and external software engineers, and data modelers to create a final product.
